Works perfect... January 3, 2009 ...I've had a Panasonic TH-50PH9UK for over two years and I just installed this HDMI card today. I can tell an immediate difference in my HDTV cable picture (1080i and 720p) as well as on my standard Denon DVD player. Easy to install and works as advertised. The urge to upgrade my 1080i TV to a new 1080p has subsided, for now.
Works great and very simple.. December 12, 2008 Quick installation, it only takes about 10 minutes. I have a commercial 7 series panasonic and it works great.
panasonic HDmi module October 16, 2008 All I can say is our plasma tv came without it and we needed it in order to hook up a fuzebox and its working fine , so far. its too early to really give much input on its performance or reliability other than its been working for 3 weeks now.

I have a 7 series Panny and this product works just fine. I am watching a fantastic HD picture of the Angels on it right now.
Panasononic HDmi Plugin worked for my Series 7 Plasma July 18, 2008 Faced with upconverting my 51 inch Panasonic Series 7 television to HDMI, I purchased this Series 8, 9 HDmi Input Module. I checked the Panasonic website and called them but got no verification that it would work for Series 7 and could find no available alternative. Perhaps Panasonic prefers to sell TV's.
With the TV still upright (might be easier another way), I removed the four screws for the plate covering my previously unused slot 1, grounded myself, and slid the blade upward and in, having taken care that it was in the right orientation. I replaced the screws in the correct order, slapped on the HDMI ID sticker for the new input and reconnected my Sony PS3 (which plays Blu-Ray DVDs and games)with a $12-14 HDMI cable I also ordered from Amazon. Total time spent: 15 min - half of which was to find the right phillips screwdriver and enjoy the rather minimal instructions which had been translated into many languages I don't speak.
It worked immediately, the TV recognizing the new source and asking me if I wanted 1080p (of course). The results were fantastic for Blu-Ray. My wife thought I was some sort of electronic wizard. For conventional disks I see improvement, but my wife doesn't. I think her strategy is for us to replace our DVD collection with Blu-Ray, and she'll probably succeed in her strategy because the Blu-Ray is amazing.
